Police investigate fatal shooting on Antioch Pike

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed Saturday.

According to police, the man was shot in the 1600 block of Antioch Pike during a fight with three other people.

The victim, who appears to be a young adult, has not yet been identified, police said.

After analyzing the surveillance videos, investigators believe that the victim was skateboarding shortly after 11 p.m. when he was approached by three other people.

A struggle broke out between them. During the struggle, the victim dropped a gun. One of the three fighters appeared to pick it up and shoot the victim.

The victim ran before collapsing in front of a nearby lawn care business. He died at the scene. The other three ran away.
