Orlando police investigate shooting that left two people injured

Police told Channel 9 that the two people injured in the shooting are now in stable condition.

They also told Channel 9 that a child was among the injured.

Neighbors said a passerby took the child to the hospital.

As of this evening, police are still searching for the suspect involved in the shooting.

“In the 10 years I’ve lived here, we’ve never experienced anything like this,” said resident Lynette Rosado. “So it’s traumatic.”

In addition, police knocked on doors to speak to witnesses and collected evidence scattered on the street.

There is currently no connection to another police incident in Orlando that occurred about 10 minutes away on Crystal Lake Drive.

Orlando police are responding to a shooting in an Orlando neighborhood.

According to police, officers were called around noon to a scene in the 700 block of South Oxalis Avenue where a shooting had occurred.

According to OPD, two people were found and taken to nearby hospitals.

Police said one person was in stable condition and another was in critical condition.

Police said it was an active and ongoing investigation.
