Camillus police close investigation into Target fire

CAMILLUS, NY (WSYR-TV) – Camillus Police say they have completed their investigation into the cause of a fire at the Fairmount Target on June 28.

The investigation into the cause of the fire revealed that a young person was solely responsible.

After a meeting with the teenager and his parents on July 3, police announced that the case was closed.

After speaking with the Onondaga County District Attorney and county prosecutors, no charges will be filed.
