One person hospitalized after early morning shooting on East Delavan Avenue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man was struck by gunfire while standing outside in the 1400 block of East Delavan Avenue Thursday morning, Buffalo police officials said.

Police responded to the call just after 4 a.m. Authorities said a 31-year-old Buffalo man was transported by civilian vehicle to ECMC where he was taken into surgery.
