Car theft on Burke Avenue in the Bronx

Bronx, New York:—On Saturday, police were notified of a carjacking outside 800 Burke Avenue involving a 67-year-old victim. At approximately 4:00 a.m., an unknown assailant forced open the driver’s side door and demanded cash and car keys.

After the confrontation, the suspect forcibly dragged the victim from the vehicle and fled, driving eastbound on Burke Avenue. The victim sustained only minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man with a slim build, approximately 6’1″ tall. His clothing includes a pink flannel shirt, white tank top, blue denim shorts, a red and black baseball cap, and green alligator shoes. Authorities are actively seeking any information regarding the incident or the suspect’s whereabouts.
