Woman charged with murder in Buffalo

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Buffalo woman has been arrested in Rochester, accused in the shooting death of a woman on Liddell Street last week.

On June 12, police responded to a shooting call in the 100 block of Liddell Street and found an unconscious victim with a gunshot wound.
Shawneequa Pearson, 43, was transported to ECMC where she later died.

Police said the suspect, Shana Rowe, 39, was in Rochester where she was apprehended by Buffalo Police detectives with the assistance of the Rochester Police SWAT team.

Rowe was charged with second-degree murder.
