Delivery worker stabbed in the chest in Bensonhurst

Police say a delivery worker in Bensonhurst was stabbed Thursday night.

Investigators believe the 25-year-old delivery worker was stabbed once in the chest a few minutes after 9 p.m. on West Eighth Street near Avenue O. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.

According to police, two men connected to the stabbing left the scene on the victim’s black moped.
