Lenexa driver among four arrested during traffic stop in rural northeast Kansas

JACKSON CO., Kansas (KCTV) – A Lenexa driver was among four people arrested for illegal drug possession during a traffic stop in rural northeast Kansas.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office in Kansas says that shortly before 2 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, officers stopped a minivan traveling north near Highway 75 and 150th Street for a traffic violation.

During the stop, according to the sheriff’s office, drug contraband was found, which led to the arrest of the driver, Daniel N. Ivan, 58, of Lenexa. His three passengers were also arrested. All four were registered with the Jackson County, Kansas Sheriff’s Office on:

    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • Possession of a hallucinogenic drug
    • Possession of drug paraphernalia
    • Possession of stolen property
    • no insurance
  • Pamela D. Kirtdoll, 47, of Topeka
    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Angel D. Coulter, 51, of Topeka
    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • Possession of drug paraphernalia
    • Transport of an open container
  • Harvey C. Hamilton, 41, of Topeka
    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • Possession of drug paraphernalia

As of Thursday, everyone is still behind bars: Ivan on $10,000 bail, Kirtdoll and Coulter on $2,000 bail, and Hamilton on $5,000 bail.
