Summerville police investigate gas station robbery

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) – Summerville police say their officers are using sniffer dogs to search for a suspect in a robbery Tuesday morning.

Captain Chris Hirsch said the robbery occurred around 7:45 a.m. at the Exxon gas station in the 1400 block of Old Trolley Road.

No one was taken into custody.

There was no mention of injuries.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Department assisted Summerville police at the scene, Hirsch said.
