Buffalo Days is scheduled for July 26-28 in Jamestown – Jamestown Sun

JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce announces the schedule of events for Buffalo Days, which will take place July 26-28 in Jamestown.

Buffalo Days is an annual weekend commemorating Jamestown and its nickname “Buffalo City,” which dates back to the 1960s. Today, many agencies, businesses and organizations host events and deals to welcome visitors and invite former residents to return home.

“The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce really enjoys helping put on Buffalo Days,” said Emily Bivens, executive director of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce. “Whether it’s your first time in Jamestown, visiting family or friends, or even coming home for a family or class reunion, we invite everyone to come explore our incredible community and to participate in this Jamestown family celebration.”

Events include a parade, vendor show, live music, pancake breakfast, golf tournament, cornhole tournament, mud drags and more. Sponsors include Dakota Central, Sanford Health, Great River Energy, Alpha Opportunities, Applied Digital, Midco and McDonald’s.

The full Buffalo Days schedule is available on the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce website or on the Jamestown Community Calendar. Visit JamestownChamber.com to download a schedule.
