Man on bail for rape and robbery molests 8-year-old girl from UP | Bareilly News

BAREILLY: A man out on bail after facing rape and robbery charges sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl living in his neighbourhood in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Budaun on Friday. Some villagers found the survivor in critical condition at a farm and rushed her to a hospital where her condition stabilised.

On Friday, the man lured the girl with sweetcorn and took her to a farm where he raped her and left her to die. The unconscious girl was later found by villagers who immediately sought medical attention. Police said the survivor had numerous injuries on her body, including severe wounds in her private parts that required stitches.

The fugitive man has been accused of several crimes, including rape and robbery. In 2022, the suspect and his two brothers raped a 60-year-old woman. The trio were arrested and jailed for gang rape, but were released on bail earlier this year.

SHO Udaiveer Singh said, “He was under the influence of alcohol when he attacked the minor. We have deployed several teams to arrest him.”
