Coroner called to car-pedestrian accident at corner of 12th Street and Walnut Street

Erie police and firefighters are on the scene of a serious car-pedestrian accident.

The incident was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday evening at the corner of West 12th Street and Walnut Street.

According to EmergyCare and Erie County 911, the medical examiner was called to the scene.

While police investigated, Walnut Street was closed from West 12th Street to West 14th Street.
