TBI issues Silver Alert for missing woman with dementia in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) issued a Silver Alert Saturday night for a woman suffering from dementia who went missing after leaving a Nashville hospital.

According to authorities, 64-year-old Dorothy Martin was last seen on Friday afternoon, June 7, leaving TriStar Centennial Medical Center in the 2300 block of Patterson Street.

The TBI described Martin as 5’4″ tall and 175 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. It added that she has health conditions that could affect her ability to return safely without assistance. More specifically, the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said Martin suffers from dementia and must take her medications.
