New chef, new menu, new general manager at Hofbrauhaus Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Hofbrauhaus Buffalo has a new general manager, a new chef and a new menu.

But don’t expect the Bavarian-themed downtown brewery to be much different: You’ll still find traditional fare, oompah bands, and an Oktoberfest atmosphere all year round.

The updated dinner menu, launched May 6, also includes Munich-style half-roasted chicken, three new salad options, Buffalo-style chicken and a burger made with a special blend of bison, head of wild boar, venison and elk. Among the cut dishes: white weisswürste sausage, sauerbraten roast pork and ravioli. Diners will also find a new kids’ menu, a new bar menu and an updated brunch menu, starting on Mother’s Day.
