Teenager shot during road rage incident in construction zone on I-80/94 – 95.3 MNC

A teenager is recovering after being shot in an apparent incident of driving aggression at a construction site.

Indiana State Police officers were called to the 7000 block of Madison St. in Hammond shortly before 3:30 p.m. CDT on Monday, June 3, to investigate a report of a shooting that occurred on I-80/94 near Calumet Avenue.

A juvenile suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound as a result of the incident, which occurred at the construction site east of the Indiana-Illinois border.

The Indiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division arrived at the scene and is actively working on the investigation.
