Remains of French-Mexican man killed in October 7 attack arrive in Mexico

The body of a French-Mexican man killed during the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel arrived in Mexico City on Friday, authorities said.

The remains of Orion Hernandez Radoux “were received at the airport by State Department officials,” the State Department said in a statement.

The Israeli army said last week that troops had recovered his body in the northern Gaza Strip, along with the bodies of two other men, including a Brazilian-Israeli citizen.

Hernandez Radoux was born in the central Mexican state of Morelos, but has dual citizenship because his mother is French.

On October 7, he was with his girlfriend, whose death the Israeli authorities confirmed at the end of October, at the Nova electronic music festival in southern Israel, a few kilometers from Gaza.
