A man was arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting in Stockton that left a woman dead earlier this year.

According to officials, 23-year-old Francisco Ramirez was arrested by Border Patrol agents last week and taken to the San Joaquin County Jail on Tuesday.

The arrest stems from a shooting on Logan Lane on March 22. While officers were searching the welfare program, they found a woman in her 20s who had died from a gunshot wound.
