Sixers’ Kelly Oubre Jr. talks about his car crash after winning Game 3 of the playoffs

PHILADELPHIA — After the Philadelphia 76ers returned home from their Game 2 loss to the New York Knicks, forward Kelly Oubre Jr. was involved in a car crash. After a big win over the Knicks in Game 3 on Thursday, Oubre spoke about the accident.

“Everything is fine,” he said. “I’m fine. The people involved were fine, but I probably need to get a driver or something and not sit on the street, but everything is fine. I’m fine. I was still able to do my job and support my family and everything is great.”

This is the second time Oubre has been involved in a car accident during the 2023-24 season. In November, he was involved in a hit-and-run accident as a pedestrian. He suffered a rib injury and missed several games.

Oubre scored 15 points and seven rebounds and played a big role in Thursday’s Game 3 win.
