14 people arrested in Portland shoplifting incident

The retail mission, in collaboration with retail partners, focused on the Cascade Station Shopping Center near Portland Airport.

PORTLAND, Oregon – Late last week, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) conducted a shoplifting operation focused on a Portland mall. The operation resulted in several arrests and warrants, including the arrest of a notorious shoplifter, according to PPB.

On May 24, officers from Portland’s North Precinct, K9 Unit and Air Support Unit helped conduct the operation, which is part of an ongoing effort to combat organized shoplifting throughout the city.

Officers, working with retail partners, focused on the Cascade Station Shopping Center near Portland Airport. According to PPB, the mission resulted in the arrest of 14 people and the cancellation of 16 warrants.

A woman, 41-year-old Pamala R. McIntosh, also known as Pamala Fleming-Parton, was arrested at the Old Navy store on six outstanding warrants, all for first-, second- and third-degree theft from Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties – nine theft counts are still pending.

Portland police say they work with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office Retail Theft Task Force on these cases and often involve suspects involved in organized theft rings.

The results of the May 24 operation were as follows: 14 arrests, one felony charge, nine misdemeanor charges, eight felony warrants, eight misdemeanor warrants, two traffic stops, two cars towed, one car attempted to flee from police, and two citations issued.
