Report: Suspected serial rapist drove rape prison on wheels

A man caught attacking a woman in his pickup truck in the woods was carrying handcuffs, a shovel, blood-splattered little shoes and more, FOX11 reported.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — A 40-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting women in a “rape dungeon on wheels” in the Angeles National Forest was reportedly caught in the middle of the assault, after which investigators discovered a trove of gruesome evidence.

The troubling evidence was first reported by Fox11 Los Angeles. Eduardo Sarabia, 40, was arrested on May 13 when officers caught him raping a 26-year-old woman at knifepoint, the station reported.

Inside the van’s cage were a mattress, condoms, handcuffs, what were believed to be USB sticks containing videos of his victims, a small pair of shoes with blood splatters, a shovel, women’s underwear and small pajamas, FOX11 reported.

“Due to the nature of the allegations, investigators believe there may be additional unidentified victims,” ​​the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau said.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, detectives are searching for additional victims.

“The horrific and violent sexual assault these two survivors suffered at the hands of the alleged suspect is deeply disturbing and incomprehensible. Our thoughts are with the victims during this incredibly difficult time,” said District Attorney Gascón.

Sarabia was arrested Monday on suspicion of rape and oral sex in connection with sexual assaults on May 12 and 13, investigators said. He was held without bail on suspicion of rape and oral sex.

“Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau are investigating two separate sexual assault cases involving female victims who were sexually assaulted by Eduardo Sarabia along Highway 39 in the Angeles National Forest,” sheriff’s officials said in a statement.

According to police, the attacks occurred on May 12, 2024 and May 13, 2024 between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
