Minor charged with raping and impregnating sister after watching porn

A 13-year-old boy has been booked for allegedly raping and impregnating his 15-year-old sister on Sunday, May 21, in Mumbai.

Police were alerted after the victim’s parents visited Vashi General Hospital to terminate their daughter’s three-month-old pregnancy.

According to Hindustan Times The girl reportedly said her younger brother raped her after they watched porn together. They allegedly tried to have sex for the first time in December last year but failed.

The official explained Hindustani Times that: “But the following month (January), the boy allegedly raped her despite her requesting it. The matter was eventually reported to the mother after the victim missed her monthly cycle.”

A case has been registered against the minor under Sections 376 (rape) and 376(2)(n) (repeated rape of the same woman) of the Indian Penal Code and Child Protection Sections 4, 6, 8 and 12 of the Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO).

The case has been handed over to the Khandeshwar police and the Child Protection Commission will decide on further action.
