A doctor in Magnolia’s emergency room reportedly rapes a patient and is arrested

MAGNOLIA, Ark. (KSLA) – A doctor in Magnolia, Arkansas has been arrested for an alleged rape.

The doctor in question is Jeremy Wayne Saul, 43, of London, Arkansas. Magnolia police say the rape was reported on March 28 and an investigation has been launched.

Saul was working as a doctor in the emergency room at Magnolia Regional Hospital when the alleged rape occurred. According to police, the victim was in the hospital receiving medical treatment at the time of the incident.

Saul was arrested on May 2nd; His bail was set at $200,000. According to booking records, he was released the same day.

The hospital states that Saul was hired by a third-party contractor working with the hospital and that he is no longer employed at the facility.

The investigation is ongoing.
