Driver loses control and crashes into house in the northwest of the city

No one was injured and the people in the house were able to escape unharmed.

SAN ANTONIO — A car crashed into a home in the city’s northwest area early Sunday morning, police said, and police are still trying to determine why the driver lost control.

San Antonio police responded to the 1400 block of Benrus Drive near the intersection of Culebra Road and Callaghan Road shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday for a report of a car crashing into a home.

According to police, the driver remained at the scene of the accident, but it is unclear this morning whether charges will be filed against him.

No one was injured and the people in the house were able to escape unharmed.
