Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is blocked due to thunderstorms

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The world’s busiest airport is grounded as thunderstorms batter metropolitan Atlanta.

Departures are expected to run until 4:30 p.m. from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. There is a medium probability that the layover will be extended, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
