Innocent bystander shot in Wildwood, NJ, police say – NBC10 Philadelphia

An innocent bystander is fighting for his life after being shot in Wildwood, New Jersey, officials said Wednesday.

The shooting occurred in the 3800 block of Pacific Avenue. Investigators said an innocent bystander was shot and is currently in critical condition, investigators said.

Authorities have not released the exact time or date of the shooting, but Wildwood residents claimed on social media that it occurred Tuesday evening.

There is a bar and restaurant near the crime scene, but authorities did not confirm whether the shooting occurred at that business.

Investigators said they have identified the suspect in the shooting but have not yet released his name or description.
