Police: Man hospitalized after shooting in New Albany

A man was shot in New Albany Tuesday morning, according to New Albany police. At around 6 a.m., New Albany police officers were dispatched to the 900 block of East Eighth Street for a possible shooting. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound outside a home. He was taken to UofL Hospital with injuries that police said were not life-threatening. Police said they arrested a suspect outside the home, but no charges have been filed at this time.
