Stockton murder suspect arrested in Antioch

A man wanted in connection with a murder in the town of Stockton was arrested Monday in the town of Antioch.

Shortly before noon on Monday, a manhunt was underway in the city of Antioch as police tried to track down a man wanted for murder in the city of Stockton.

Until 5:00 p.m., Carlos Palacios, The 28-year-old was in custody after house searches had taken place since around 2 p.m. No details were given locally about the case or murder for which he was wanted.

The U.S. Marshals, Stockton Police Department, San Joaquin County Sheriff, Contra Costa County Sheriff and Antioch Police Department were all on scene.

He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has brown hair, brown eyes and goatee facial hair.
