Let’s face it: if Allen goes down, the season is over. He’s the franchise, and there’s no reason to debate that.

The Bills appear to have changed their offensive philosophy, shedding superstar Stefon Diggs and dependable Gabriel Davis. The team is now looking to spread the wealth.

Allen has two new weapons on the sideline: second-round pick Keon Coleman and free-agent acquisition Curtis Samuel. Additionally, Khalil Shakir will see more time in the end zone after his strong finish in 2023. Dalton Kincaid was a solid option last year. He leads the returner group in receptions in 2023. Dawson Knox is an above-average target in the red zone.

Now what if the idea of spreading the wealth doesn’t come to fruition? Who will be Allen’s go-to player?

Well, it’s Allen. Allen has put the team on his back on multiple occasions and led the group to victory. Now, will enough players be able to step up to the plate with this new offense, or will Allen be forced to take full control and play Superman on the field again?

This has gone from one question to several. Regardless, Allen will need more support from the team if the Bills are to make the playoffs.
