1 person dead after collision with car in southwest Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a car in the southwest part of the city.

OKLAHOMA CITY –

According to police, a person died Friday morning in southwest Oklahoma City after being hit by a car.

Oklahoma City police said they responded after a man was found lying in the street near Southwest 29th Street and South Virginia Avenue.

Investigators at the scene said a wheelchair was also found near the man.

Southwest 29th Street was closed in both directions while OCPD investigated.
