Police are investigating three armed robberies in less than a month at popular restaurants in Williamsburg and Greenwich Village

NEW YORK (WABC) — Police are investigating three armed robberies that occurred within less than a month at popular New York City restaurants in Williamsburg and Greenwich Village.

Although no arrests have been made, authorities are continuing to investigate whether the robberies are connected.

The first reported armed robbery occurred on Friday, May 31, at the Birds of a Feather restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

According to police, an unknown person approached a 38-year-old man and a 40-year-old man in front of 81 Broadway. The person displayed a firearm and demanded their watches, police said. The men gave the person their property and he fled with another person in the back of a two-wheeled vehicle, police said. No injuries were reported. No arrests were made.

On June 18, a 39-year-old man was robbed outside Marlow & Sons, police said. The report states that two people demanded the 39-year-old’s watch and displayed a firearm. The watch was taken, according to police, and the suspects fled. No arrests were made, but the investigation is ongoing.

Eyewitness News received a video of the robbery in Marlow & Sons in Williamsburg on May 31.

On June 21, an armed robbery was reported outside of Carbone in Greenwich Village.

According to police, three men were eating at the location when two unknown men with a firearm demanded the victims’ property. The suspects took a watch and two cell phones and fled, police said. The phones were located and seized nearby, police said. No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing.
