JBER pilot found dead in Anchorage house

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Authorities are investigating how an Air Force member died after his body was found in a home in northeast Anchorage.

Officials at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson said in a news release Monday that Captain Brock McArdle, 30, was found dead in his home around 8 p.m. Friday.

JBER said the cause of death was still being investigated and results would be announced at a later date.

McArdle was assigned to the 3rd Squadron.
