US military says it destroys seven Houthi radars after attack on ship

The US military said on Friday that it had destroyed seven Houthi radars, a drone and two unmanned surface vessels in Yemen in the past 24 hours.

The move came two days after a Greek ship was damaged in an attack by Houthi militias and left drifting in the Red Sea.

“These radars enable the Houthis to attack maritime vessels and endanger commercial shipping,” the US Central Command said on the social media site X.
