Missoula Sheriff Investigates Shooting at Sha-Ron Fishing Access

MISSOULA- — The Missoula Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a firearms incident Friday afternoon near the Sha-Ron Fishing Access in East Missoula.

According to a press release, officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound around 4 p.m. When officers arrived, they found one person injured.

The person was taken to a local hospital, but their current condition is currently unknown.

The sheriff is asking the public to avoid the area if possible while this incident is under investigation. There is no danger to the public.
