First warning on Thursday due to possible late rains and storms

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – An initial warning remains in effect Thursday due to further rain and possible storms throughout the day.

The day will begin with cloudy skies and some areas of dense fog. Afternoon temperatures will reach the 80s in Charlotte before wet weather sets in in the late afternoon and evening. Windy weather is expected.

Friday will be a much nicer day with sunny skies and lower humidity. Maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees.

The weekend promises to be fine, with temperatures remaining warm between 30 and 35 degrees and sunshine forecast for both days. There is a slight chance of a shower late Sunday.

The forecast for next week is for more sunshine, little chance of rain and temperatures between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius.
