Man shot and killed in Euless after argument

EULESS, Texas – Euless police said 40-year-old Jorge Pulido Lara was shot and killed by his girlfriend, 43-year-old Bridget Leitao, on Sunday, May 26.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim on the ground around 10:30 p.m. They arrived in the 100 block of West Airport Freeway.

When police arrived, they found Lara shot in the chest. Euless paramedics arrived at the scene and determined Lara was dead.

According to police, officers were able to make contact with Leitao, who told them Lara was her boyfriend. Leitao was arrested at the scene after telling officers she shot Lara during an argument.

According to police, Leitao is charged with murder and is being held in the Tarrant County Jail. Her bail has not yet been set.
