Woman arrested after two car accidents and fleeing from police in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A woman was taken into custody after colliding with a police officer and later with an unoccupied vehicle on Saturday, June 1.

Tucson police were initially called to check on the driver near East Navajo Road and Los Altos Avenue. According to TPD, the driver collided with another officer but was not injured.

The suspect fled in his vehicle after additional police arrived and was pursued five miles to the area of ​​Speedway and Dodge, where the suspect again collided with a parked car.

The woman was later taken to hospital and is being treated for her injuries.
