Man killed in motorcycle crash in Bloomfield – NBC Connecticut

A man died in a motorcycle accident in Bloomfield early Saturday morning.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Blue Hills Avenue and East Dudley Town Road around 2:15 a.m.

Dispatchers were notified that there was a motorcycle on the lawn in front of the store at the intersection.

Officers said they found a badly damaged motorcycle in the area and a man lying on his back nearby.

The 41-year-old man was reportedly unresponsive, not breathing and had no pulse.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed and the patient was later pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The man’s identity has not yet been disclosed.

Investigators believe that the motorcyclist lost control and slid off the road onto a grassy area. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
