Incident reports:

  • May 16: A violation of a protection order in Chillicothe was investigated. The report will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges.
  • May 19: Repair of the property damage in the area of ​​LIV 419 and LIV 420. After a conversation with the suspect, the matter was clarified and an incident report was submitted.
  • May 20: An investigation into illegal dumping at the Chillicothe Municipal Utilities incineration site has been completed. An agreement was reached between the parties involved and no further issues were encountered.

Arrests:

  • 17th of May: Joshua Caudill, 36, of Wheeling was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for failure to comply with a judge’s orders (case number 23LV-CR00412-01). He was originally charged with illegal possession of a firearm. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center without bail.
  • 17th of May: Darrell Page Jr., 35, of Wheeling was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license (second offense) on State Highway B near U.S. Highway 36. His case was processed and he was released on a traffic citation.
  • May 18: Terry Nichols Sr., 60, of Chillicothe was arrested for driving without a license on LIV 261 near State Highway K in Chula. He was cited and released to appear in Livingston District Court.
  • May 18: Christopher Vaughn, 41, of Mooresville was arrested on a Livingston County warrant (case number 24LV-CR00093) for failure to appear on an insurance violation in the 1100 block of Cherry Street. He posted $200 bail and was released with a new court date.
  • May 18: Terry Palmer, 52, of Braymer was arrested for driving while intoxicated on State Highway C south of U.S. Highway 36. His case was processed and he was released on a summons.
  • May 24: Served Terry Nichols Sr., 60, of Chillicothe, two Livingston County warrants for failure to comply with a judge’s orders relating to repeat offense and driving while suspended. He surrendered and was released after posting a total of $15,000 bail.
