Wayne County man arrested under Leandra’s Law – Finger Lakes Daily News

The investigation into a domestic incident led to the arrest of a Wayne County man on multiple charges, including violating Leandra’s Law.

It is alleged that Matthew Wilson was driving while intoxicated while riding with a child under the age of 15 as a passenger. Wilson was arrested after failing a breathalyzer test. The 38-year-old was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing, where he underwent a chemical test that revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent.

Wilson was charged with drunken driving, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more, driving under the influence under Leandra’s Law, driving without a license, endangering the welfare of a child and several traffic violations.

Wilson was held in the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment under the CAP process.
