SLC man dies after jet ski accident in Morgan Co. reservoir

MORGAN COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — A 29-year-old Salt Lake City man died Wednesday night after jet skiing at East Canyon Reservoir in Morgan County, Utah.

Authorities have contacted the family, but a name is not being released at this time.

Witnesses told authorities that he crashed his jet ski into rocks on the shore. According to DNR Police Detective Drew Powers, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was recovered by state park officials.
