Search warrant in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village reveals two loaded handguns

Brandon Gaines, 25, of Buffalo, was arrested. He is charged with second and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.

According to the report, the search was conducted by the Buffalo Police Intelligence Unit, the Buffalo Police SWAT Team and agents from the FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force and the U.S. Bureau of Investigation. alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives at an address in the 400 block of Richmond Ave., between Lexington Avenue and West Ferry Street.

Police said officers found a loaded Glock 17 handgun and a loaded Ruger SR9 pistol, along with ammunition, a high-capacity ammunition feeding device, approximately 1½ pounds of marijuana and more than $20,000 cash.
