WOODSTOCK, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – An area of ​​Cherokee County was closed Monday morning due to a police investigation.

The Woodstock Police Department says there is a heavy police presence in the area of ​​Brandon Street and Ridge Trail due to an “ongoing incident.”

Police are asking you to avoid the area but say “there is no active threat.”
