PD: 1 dead in motorcycle accident in Kentwood

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — One person died in a motorcycle accident in Kentwood Monday afternoon, police said.

It happened around 2:41 p.m. at the intersection of 60th Street and Wing Avenue. Officers from the Kentwood Police Department and the Kent County Sheriff’s Office arrived and discovered a motorcycle and a car had crashed, police said.

First responders provided medical aid to a victim, but the person was pronounced dead. According to police, no other injuries were reported.

It is unclear what caused the crash. It is still being investigated.
