Pedestrian killed in South Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was struck and killed by a vehicle in south Charlotte Sunday afternoon, according to Medic.

It happened around 3 p.m. Sunday in the 4200 block of Providence Road, north of Fairview Road and Sardis Road.

Paramedics determined one person was dead at the scene, Medic said.
