NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the central government and Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor (L-G) of conspiring to harm Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while he was in custody. Singh alleged that there was a deliberate attempt to endanger Kejriwal’s life by providing misleading and contradictory information about his health condition.

Singh said: “The medical report of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal indicates that Kejriwal could face any incident in prison at any time.”

He submitted medical reports showing that Kejriwal’s blood sugar level had fallen dangerously below 50 on several occasions, including on June 3 and 4 and July 1. Singh criticised the erratic statements of the authorities, who first claimed that Kejriwal was eating excessive amounts of sweets and now claim that he was starving, as evidence of a deeper conspiracy to harm Kejriwal.

According to Singh, the conflicting health reports and the failure of the BJP and the LG to provide accurate medical data amount to a serious offence. He hinted that this could lead to a charge of attempt to murder. Singh stressed that the discrepancies in the health reports and the lack of proper medical care indicate a deliberate attempt to endanger Kejriwal’s life.

Singh also highlighted a “clear pattern of negligence and misinformation” aimed at harming Kejriwal, raising serious doubts about the intentions of the BJP and the LG and the integrity of the health management entrusted to him.

He stressed that these issues need to be addressed immediately and Kejriwal’s health needs to be properly addressed. Singh also announced that the AAP’s legal team is considering filing charges of attempt to murder against those involved, accusing them of making false statements and negligence in handling Kejriwal’s health.
