CATOOSA, Oklahoma. –

A motorcyclist who died in a crash on I-44 on Thursday has been identified.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 50-year-old Jason L. Hurd died at the scene of the crash on I-44 east of 193rd E. Ave. in Catoosa.

According to OHP, Hurd was traveling westbound when he lost control, crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle in the eastbound lane.

The other driver was not injured.
