Police investigate two shootings in north Spokane | News

SPOKANE, Wash. – Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred Monday in North Spokane.

On July 15 at around 2:30 p.m., Spokane Police responded to a report of multiple shots fired near Wilding Drive and Fredericksburg Court.

The caller reported that a red SUV may have been involved.

When they arrived, officers found bullet casings but no suspects or victims.

At around 6 p.m., SPD responded to a second reported shooting near Liberty Avenue and Lacey Street.

At the scene, police found a man with a minor head injury that did not appear to be a gunshot wound.

Officers learned that a fight had broken out among a group of people and that at some point someone had fired a gun and then fled in a silver SUV.
