Man arrested on suspicion of murder in crossbow attack in UK

A man suspected of murdering three women in a crossbow attack in Bushey, southern England, has been arrested, British police said.

“A man has been arrested in connection with a triple murder that occurred on Tuesday evening,” Hertfordshire Constabulary said in a statement on Friday.

According to the statement, a 26-year-old man was arrested on Thursday evening on suspicion of triple murder.

Detective Superintendent Rob Hall, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Crime Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the families of the victims at this tragic time.”

“The investigation is progressing rapidly and we have now arrested a man. The investigation is currently ongoing,” he added.
