Man arrested for murder of 13-year-old on July 4 in Orlando

A man has been arrested for the murder of a 13-year-old girl who was found dead in Orlando on July 4, officials said.RELATED: Orange County officials launch murder investigation after death of 13-year-old girlThe man arrested was identified as 28-year-old Jerry Loreeson Dorisme and charged with first-degree murder, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.The victim, Rose Thalie Dieujuste, was found unconscious and with obvious signs of injuries on South Rio Grande Avenue in Orlando. She was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.The Orange County Sheriff’s Office previously released a video showing a suspicious person in connection with Dieujuste’s death.RELATED: New video shows suspicious person in connection with 13-year-old girl’s July 4 death in OrlandoIn the video, the suspicious person can be seen leaving the parking lot wearing white pants and a pink shirt. He appeared to be holding a bag as he walked. Officers said they were able to arrest the suspect with help from community members who provided tips after seeing the video released Wednesday. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. Friday to provide more details on the arrest.
