Missing Stamford man found dead in woods

A missing man was found dead in New Canaan early Tuesday morning, according to New Canaan police.

According to police, the Stamford man was reported missing late Monday night. He was last seen working on a house under construction in New Canaan.

Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Stamford and New Canaan police found him in a wooded area. A paramedic on the scene pronounced him dead.

The identity of the victim has not been released. State police are working with local investigators on the case.
